YOBBINGS is a creative greeting card company based in Accra, Ghana. Yobbings was born out of the desire to tell our own stories, in our own language, mannerisms, culture, and color.

Hi, I’m Ama, and I’m the founder and creative director of Yobbings. For two years I sat with the idea of starting paper products tailored for people like me and people around me but failed to start because of the fear of failure. First, I thought I was being too audacious thinking of myself as a competitor of Hallmark in the African market. And then I was worried that people wouldn’t like the product. And then I wondered how in the hell I was going to market the product. Finally, after mounting all the fears and excuses, I jumped into the creation of Yobbings with just 4 cards.

Today, there are over 80 cards, to show love, solidarity, to make you smile randomly in the middle of your day, to grieve with you, hold your hand, give a push, acknowledge your greatness, and to remind you that you are always loved.

Yobbings is synonymous with thoughtfulness & lightheartedness. It’s someone taking the time to learn your love language and loving you just as you need.
